After Elijah Sparshott

This is a copy of painting posted today by Eijah Sparshott, who has being doing a new painting every day. It inspired me to try to do a version also in one day. You learn a lot by painting from an existing painting you like. I wanted to do a painting both quicker (It generally takes me a week to do a digital painting) and also in a looser style than I tend to do. I worked on this off and on over 8 hours today. I did not complete it as it is a copy of someone else's work. I just wanted to really do the face.
